IEEE Spectrum: How to Beat Information Overload

Nathan Zeldes has published an article in IEEE Spectrum on Infoglut:

“Information, the very thing that makes it possible to be an engineer, a doctor, a lawyer, or any other kind of modern information worker, is threatening our ability to do our work. How’s that for irony?”

Definitely worth a read if you’re interested in how email and information overload are killing our productivity.  And there’s a mention of ClearContext to boot.

  1. I’m a professional photographer based in Milan Italy.
I own a pretty simple business I’ a wedding, editorial and commercial photographer.
I receive 5 to 10 estimate every day coming from my 4 web sites ( Fotografo Matrimonio, Wedding Photograher, Vittore Buzzi, Wedding Photograher, Photo Agency) I have to answer to do the phone calls, to rganize te assigenemnt, often on destination, and last year Istart to loose control of my bussines and of my time and at the end of my money. During the summer I start to eveluate some GDT frame work and I was really surprised when I find clear context. I bought the business one is relly nice. I would like it could be a little bit more comprhensive and could track also my expenses… Something like + Clera Context + Quiken + Euro Area. I’m an happy customer now I can focus on my core business TAKING PICTURE.
